The Mangrove
The Mangrove draws its form from the quiet complexity of tropical mangrove roots, systems shaped by tension, flow, and time. Light filters through its structure softly, creating a sense of calm rather than contrast.
The Chelonya
Named after Florida’s loggerhead sea turtle, which has nested along the state’s shores for centuries. Its layered, perforated form echoes both the organic geometry of fishing nets and the protective patterns of a turtle’s shell.

PA6 nylon recovered from end-of-life fishing nets forms the foundation of each design. A material built for extreme conditions, reclaimed and refined for a second life as light. It defines the character of the collection and anchors its purpose.
Each Mocamar lamp uses up to 280 g of filament - nearly half a pound of nylon redirected from waste into an object designed to stay.
