Every object supports the coast that inspired it.
We commit 3% of revenue from every Mocamar sale to the protection and restoration of Florida’s coastal ecosystems.

Our current contribution is directed toward work that protects and restores the living coastline of Florida.
Marine Resources Council
Our current contribution supports the Marine Resources Council and its work around the Indian River Lagoon, including the protection and restoration of mangrove habitats.
Mangroves are part of the coastline that inspired The Mangrove. Supporting their restoration allows the first Mocamar edition to contribute to the place from which its form and meaning emerged.
Where the 3% went.
Contributions are calculated quarterly. We publish each payment here so that the commitment can be followed over time.
Our first contribution will be calculated after the end of the current quarter. The amount, recipient and date of payment will be published here.
The contribution is based on 3% of Mocamar revenue during the respective reporting period. Taxes, returns and cancelled orders are excluded from the calculation.
Financial support is one part of our commitment. We also want to become more directly involved in the place we now call home.
We want to take part with more than money.
As Mocamar grows, we want to participate through beach cleanups, coastal material collection and partnerships with people who already understand this work.
We are currently looking to learn from local organizations, community groups and businesses with experience in cleanup events, coastal restoration and responsible material collection.
